Population and tourism growth pressure in the Victorian coastal city of Warrnambool is creating the need to plan for the future provision of community services, including pharmaceutical goods and services.

Capire Consulting Group was engaged by a private pharmacy consultancy to undertake an analysis of current and future local needs for expanded pharmaceutical services in the city. The analysis will inform the client's plans future plans for providing pharmacy services in the city.

As part of the analysis, Capire:

  • Audited the existing reach of pharmacy services in the city.
  • Developed an understanding of local needs for pharmacy provision.
  • Identified the likely retail catchments of proposed pharmacies.

The project will help to:

  • Promote timely access to pharmaceutical goods and services for new communities in the city.
  • Ensure financial viability for future pharmaceutical provision in the city.
  • Ensure new pharmacy provision conforms to Government policies and standards.

 

Kindergarten Infrastructure Strategic Plan

Client: Whitehorse City Council

Ageing kindergarten infrastructure in the City of Whitehorse, as well as recent changes to State and Federal policy, has created the need to develop of a 30-year plan to guide future provision and investment.
